This modern musical shows the breakdown of a marriage between successful novelist Jamie Wellerstein (Stuart Fong) and struggling actress Cathy Hiatt (Andi Egan). Cathy opens the tale at the end of their affair and tracks backward through the relationship, while Jamie tells the story from their first meeting. Each moment in their relationship is marked by powerful, emotive song.
Written by award-winner composer Jason Robert Brown, this two-hander will make you, laugh, cry and believe there truly are two sides to every story.
The show opened off-Broadway in 2002 and that year won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music and Lyrics. A film adaptation starring Oscar nominated Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan was released in the US in February 2015.
