First Nations Engagement Program

An initiative direct from our First Nations Artistic Advisory Group, the First Nations Engagement Program is a new program that looks to create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally safe space, encouraging collaboration and participation from our First Nations community. Brown’s Mart is committed to engaging and working with mob across the NT to promote and prioritise the perspectives and contributions of First Peoples, recognising the value of traditional and contemporary knowledge, ideas, and leadership.

Set up and run by our Emerging Creative Producer, this program has a particular focus on building engagement with First Nations audiences and nurturing future generations in the performing arts, fostering their skills and weaving their stories into how Brown’s Mart grows the artists of tomorrow.

For any First Nations artists interested in contacting Brown’s Mart, you can reach Tahlia Biggs, our Emerging Creative Producer at engagement@brownsmart.com.au or by calling 08 8981 5522 and using the extension 111.
