Hot Desking

Hot Desking is an opportunity for Northern Territory artists and arts workers to access in-kind office space with Brown's Mart in Garramilla (Darwin). Artists can apply to hot desk year round.

About the Brown's Mart office

Brown's Mart's office is located in the Brown's Mart Precinct, 12 Smith St, with the Brown's Mart Theatre, Studio, Courtyard, and our Rehearsal Room.

We have a desk space available for NT artists hoping for a place to work from in our shared, airconditioned office. Hot Desk access includes use of our wi-fi, printer and scanner, and our venue kitchenette. We also have a meeting table and public courtyard where you are welcome to host meetings or work from Mon - Friday, and Saturdays during the Dry Season (May-October)

Workshop, rehearsal and performance space is available for reasonable hire rates and is outside the scope of the Hot Desk program.

Brown's Mart Hot Desk Conditions:

Access to the office is between 9am - 5pm Mon - Friday. These hours can sometimes be extended upon request.

Hot Desk times must be booked with Brown's Mart at least 24 hours prior to use.

Hot Desk users should be courteous and respectful of other workers in the space and keep noise to a minimum where possible

Brown's Mart is a child friendly workplace and supervised children are welcome to join you during your Hot Desking

Small amounts of B/W printing are included

Hot Desk artists will be invited to attend Brown's Mart events and meet and greets during their time at Brown's Mart.
