Ticketing Terms & Conditions
Purchasing
For all shows at Brown’s Mart, ticket purchases are available through our secure online booking system Ticketsearch or at the box office one hour before the show commences.
As a venue for hire we also stage works and performances by other arts organisations, individuals and groups. Ticket sales will usually be available through our on line ticketing system. However, organisations may use their own individual booking systems. Please refer to their listing located on the home page under WHAT’S ON for details.
Transaction Fee
In almost all cases, Brown’s Mart charges a $3.50 once-off service fee per transaction for the purchase of tickets.
Concession/ Access Tickets
These tickets are for people who hold some form of concession, are unwaged, are students, are on a pension, live with a disability or are ATSI community members.
Code of Conduct
Before attending a show, ticketed or otherwise, please read through Browns Mart’s Patron Code of Conduct which is available on our website HERE.
Physical tickets
Browns Mart has gone paperless and we no longer print physical tickets. All tickets will be emailed to patrons once they have completed their online sale or phone order. Tickets can be presented on your hand-held device when you arrive for the show. If you cannot produce your tickets, please present photo ID to our staff so we can manually check you in to the performance.
Box Office
Browns Mart does not offer a box office facility on site until one hour before the start of each performance, however you can reach us by phone at 08 8981 5522.
Refunds & Exchanges
Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase except as outlined in the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Visit their website to download the ticketing code of practice or CLICK HERE.
Box Office Opening Times
The box office will be open for one hour before the start of the performance. Please present your tickets on your hand-held device so that we can scan you into the show. If you cannot present your tickets, proof of purchase will be required in the form of a driver’s licence, credit card or printed receipt. We do not mail out ticket purchases. Once you’ve been checked in to the scanned into the show, we invite you to relax in our open air, picturesque Courtyard, chat with friends and have a drink from the bar, which is open an hour before the start of the show.
Late Entry
Latecomers may not be admitted into the performance should there be a ‘lock out’ in place. Entry may be permitted at a suitable break in the performance but only as dictated by the production company and/or Theatre staff.
Swearing, nudity & other bits
Some of our productions at Brown’s Mart may contain strong language, smoking, nudity, violence, strobe lighting, haze or other things you may find confronting or uncomfortable. If you are concerned about any of these please call Admin during normal office hours.
Privacy Policy & documentation
Brown’s Mart is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act. Brown’s Mart respects the privacy of all its patrons and business partners and is committed to safeguarding the personal information which you provide us. There may sometimes be photographers or videographers documenting activity around the site before, during and after shows. If this is an issue for your safety or privacy please notify a member of the team as soon as possible.
